This Privacy Policy applies to the Simple Invoice app (referred to as "Application"), developed by Akshar Tech (referred to as "Service Provider"). By using the Application, you agree to the terms described in this policy.
Simple Invoice is an offline-first invoicing application. All invoice data, customer records, item catalogues, and business settings are stored exclusively on your device. The Application does not require an account, does not sync data to any cloud server, and does not transmit your business or invoice data to the Service Provider or any third party.
The Application itself does not collect any personal information. The following data is not collected by the Application at any point:

No analytics, crash reporting, or behavioural tracking SDKs are used in this Application.
The Application does not use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to process your personal data.
All data you enter into the Application — including business profiles, customer records, invoice data, item catalogues, and settings — is stored locally on your device using a SQLite database. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export a backup file using the built-in Backup & Restore feature.
When you use the Backup & Restore feature, you manually share your database file via your device's share sheet (e.g. to Google Drive, email, or local storage). The Service Provider has no access to this file.
The Application integrates the following third-party services. These services operate under their own privacy policies:
Users who upgrade to the Pro (ad-free) version will no longer be served ads, which reduces the data collected by advertising SDKs.
The free version of the Application displays advertisements served by Google AdMob and Meta Audience Network. These ads may be personalised based on your device's advertising identifier. Ads are not shown in critical user flows such as invoice creation, invoice preview, or the upgrade screen.

The Application offers a one-time in-app purchase ("Pro — Remove Ads") processed entirely through Google Play. The Service Provider does not collect or store any payment information. All billing is handled by Google Play and is subject to Google's Payments Privacy Policy.
By completing an in-app purchase, you agree to this Privacy Policy and Google Play's billing terms.
The Service Provider does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Information may only be disclosed in the following limited circumstances:
All data you create within the Application resides on your device and is retained until you choose to delete the Application or clear its data. The Service Provider does not retain copies of your invoice or business data on any external server.
If you contact the Service Provider directly (e.g. via email for support), any information shared in that communication will be retained only as long as necessary to resolve your query.
This Application is not directed at children under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact the Service Provider immediately and the information will be deleted promptly.
The Service Provider takes reasonable measures to protect the information processed by the Application. All business and invoice data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to external servers. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and the Service Provider cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may stop all data collection by the Application by uninstalling it using the standard uninstall process on your device or via the Google Play Store.
To request deletion of any data you may have shared with the Service Provider directly (e.g. via support email), please contact us at the email address listed in Section 13.
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. You are encouraged to review this policy regularly.
